Ryan was born and raised in the Edmonton area. He is an enthusiastic and business-minded Geoscientist to his core. After earning his Bachelor of Science with Specialization in Geology from the University of Alberta, he spent over a decade working in various corporate roles in the Canadian energy sector. In those roles, he saw science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics applied daily in the “real world”. This affirmed Ryan’s belief in the power of quality STEAM education. Eventually, Ryan decided to exit the energy sector and pursue his own business ventures. Ryan is excited to carry over the skills and experience he gained working in industry to the Edmonton area business community.
An entrepreneur at heart, Ryan is on a mission to create and grow businesses that have a positive long-lasting impact on his community. He understands that early education and learning opportunities can shape a child’s future. He aspires to provide quality programs that will foster the growth of future leaders, entrepreneurs, critical thinkers, and scientists.
Ryan is the proud father of two young children. He cherishes precious time spent with his family, adventuring outdoors, and watching his kids learn, explore, and grow. He and his wife are happy to be raising their family in St. Albert.
